Glass Water Pipes 101

Before purchasing your next water bong, it is important to understand bongs are used for ground dry herbs. Bongs, otherwise known as glass water pipes, come in a variety of sizes for whatever your habits may be. Typically, tall glass bongs are shaped with an opening at the top, include a packable bowl, and contain a base that can be filled with water. Dab rigs vaporize concentrate by using water and are a similar shape, but are smaller and include a nail. Since smoke from dry herb takes longer to dissipate than vapor from concentrates, the smoke can travel farther, thus the bigger size of the glass water pipes.
