TAG - Ceramic Nail (Requires Dome)
The TAG Ceramic Nail is a dome-style nail built to pair with a matching glass dome. Ceramic heats gradually and holds temperature steadily rather than spiking, which gives you an even, forgiving surface once it is up to temperature. Because this is a dome nail, it requires a separate dome to direct airflow; the dome is not included with the nail, so plan to run one you already have or add one to your order.
Fit is the detail to get right before you buy. This nail is offered in more than one joint size, and the two are not interchangeable: a 10MM nail will not seat in a 14MM joint, and vice versa. Check your rig's joint size and gender first, then order the matching nail and dome so everything seals cleanly.
Heat the nail gradually and let it cool before cleaning. Ceramic and all torch-heated accessories are sensitive to thermal shock, so avoid rapid temperature swings. For heavier daily use, quartz or titanium hold up longer, but ceramic remains a solid, clean-tasting option.
