TAG - 6" Fixed 8 Arm Tree Ashcatcher 50x5MM (14MM Male to 14MM Female)
This 6 inch ash catcher adds a full stage of filtration ahead of your water pipe, built around an 8 arm tree percolator. Each of the eight arms splits the draw into its own slitted column of bubbles, so air is broken up and cooled before it ever reaches your main piece. That means smoother pulls and, just as important, less residue moving into the tube you actually have to clean. Tree percs give real diffusion with a moderate, easy pull, more than a single downstem without the heavy drag of a fritted disc.
The joint runs 14MM male to 14MM female: the 14MM male end seats into a 14MM female joint on your pipe, and the 14MM female opening up top accepts your 14MM male slide. The stem is fixed, so there is nothing to lose or misalign. Match the joint ANGLE of the ash catcher to your pipe for a flush, upright fit, and keep in mind a water-filled catcher adds weight that can stress or tip a lighter pipe.
It is made from a 50MM diameter tube with 5MM walls, sturdy heavy-wall borosilicate. The logo is sandblasted, so it will not fade with cleaning. Expect slight dimensional variance. Avoid thermal shock: let glass reach room temperature before any hot or cold, and never torch the glass.
