Hoss Glass
High-Quality Scientific Glass
Glass City Pipes is proud to be one of the few authorized US retailers and distributors of Hoss Glass out of Waterloo, Ontario. Hoss Glass was founded in 2009 to provide quality products to the Canadian market. Luckily, their pieces traveled south to the states. Hoss Glass’s product line will appeal to purists due to their well-made classic beakers and straights. All Hoss bongs are made from hand-blown glass at their Canadian facility and are up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
Scientific Glass Bongs
Hoss Glass is known for some of the highest-rated scientific hand-blown glass bongs on the market. While the Canucks do create a few different styles, most Hoss Glass bongs are beakers and straights. Beakers look similar to what is found in a high school science class, which is how the cone-base bongs got their name. The wide foundation gives beaker bongs stability in addition to the strength of the borosilicate glass. The large chamber area of the cone base also allows for bigger hits and more filtration.
Straight tube bongs are what most people picture when thinking of a bong—a completely straight tube connected to a flat base for stability. Because the chamber is smaller, straight tube hits are more controllable and easier to clear. Many straight tube Hoss bongs come with an ice pinch and additional percolators for cooler, more flavourful pulls.
Hoss Bubblers
Hoss Glass bubblers are an excellent middle ground between pipes and bongs. They are smaller and more portable than a bong, though larger than a dry piece. The diffusion is simpler than a bong, so smoke is not as clean, but bubblers possess their unique flavor that is less harsh than a handheld pipe. Like their bongs, all Hoss bubblers are high-quality scientific glass at a more affordable price point. Discover more about Hoss Glass bubblers and hand-blown glass bongs by searching our catalog.
