Dab Rigs and Oil Rigs, also known as "concentrate pipes", are a preferred method to enjoy all of your legal oils and waxes. A dab rig comes with a glass dome & nail, domeless titanium, or domeless quartz nail. Using a dab rig is a simple two step process: 1) heat your nail (ideal temperature is 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit); 2) touch your concentrate to the heated nail and inhale. Prior to the development of specific pipes for oils, waxes, and concentrates, members of the smoking community would simply attach a nail onto standard water pipe. This resulted in an unpleasant drag when inhaling. Luckily times have changes and people have created the dab rigs that we have today. These pieces concentrate the vapor better and result in minimal drag. Most pieces generally come with smaller chambers and passageways, which result in quick and easy transportation of the vapor and minimize the chances of the vapor becoming stagnant or stale.
